Community groups, registered charities and not-for-profit organisations, government authorities and selected commercial groups, who are promoting a significant event or appeal, can apply for feature lighting or Matagarup Bridge deck hire. The organisation needs to be recognised within WA, nationally or internationally, or be of significance to the area.
In the Perth Metropolitan area, we are able to light up Matagarup Bridge, Mount Street Bridge, Sky Ribbon, Joondalup Drive Bridge and Northbridge Tunnel in select colours. In regional WA, we are able to light up the Great Northern Highway Port Hedland Interchange Bridge. From purple to support the Fremantle Dockers to red in support of blood donors, see how we can promote your event or organisation.
The Feature Lighting on Boorloo Bridge is strictly reserved for major events and other key dates of importance – Anzac Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas and Australia Day, along with Noongar cultural stories. Our other Main Roads landmarks are available to be reserved for awareness days, conferences, festivals and significant causes.
