Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Services would like to advise the road transport industry that the 2025 Indian Pacific Wheel Race (IPWR) will commence on Saturday 15 March at 06.22am from Fremantle. 

The IPWR travel route can be found at INDIAN PACIFIC WHEEL RACE ROUTE - V10 · Ride with GPS and is as follows:

• Fremantle South Mole
• South Street
• Roe Highway Principal Shared Path
• Welshpool Road East
• Mundaring Weir Road
• Great Eastern Highway
• Great Southern Highway
• Quairading-York Road
• York-Merredin Road
• Bruce Rock-Merredin Road
• Great Eastern Highway (to Coolgardie)
• Coolgardie-Esperance Highway (to Norseman)
• Eyre Highway to the South Australia border
• Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra and finishing at the Sydney Opera House.

Industry are reminded to be aware of cyclists and provide ample space when passing. Please also note that the riders can become separated by hundreds of kilometres while they progress.
