What’s happening
We are installing approximately 4.7 kilometres of safety barriers along Roe Highway between South Street and Nicholson Road between February and June 2025.
To minimise impact for road users, work will be undertaken between 8.30pm and 5am, Sunday to Thursday nights, with occasional Friday night work when required.
Lane closures and speed reductions will be in place for the duration of work.
The upgrades come following completion of 4.6 kilometres of safety barriers, between Orrong Road and South Street, in early 2024.
